Plain Old Joy

Yesterday,

Larry and I had the privilege to spend the day

 celebrating Lauren's birthday.

The day started early,

at the Cinemark to see The Muppet Movie.

{I loved it and want to see it again!}

Then a stop at Palio's Pizza for pizzas and salads for lunch.

Then off to the Miller Ranch for cake and gifts.

I will post other shots tomorrow,

But this morning, while Larry is working,

I reflected on the moments of yesterday.

I looked at my daughters and Matlida.

I looked at Josh and Jared, the Men in our daughters lives.

Larry sitting by my side holding my hand as always....

I was quite overcome with joy.

Plain old joy.

My heart is chuckling, my eyes are bright.

I have come to realize,

that I am the poster child for "Successful Living."

 

If you follow your heart

and

stay kind and loving.

Your life will touch you in the most amazing ways.

I almost hate to say this,

but It feels like a reward of sorts.

But sometimes, things feel so difficult

and

you think that your life may never be the same.

But I promise if you stay true to yourself

the joy will be amazing.
