I have been homesick.
Homesick for our little apartment far away.
It has been a bad case,
so
I have been organizing our holiday cards.
YAY! {wait till you see them}
I bought good stock paper,
ordered 60 copies of the photograph,
{this year it will be one of Larry's photos}
The Fleur De Leis design is ready for the envelope
and
the only things left to find are
traditional fall leaves
and
a quote for the inside.
The quote is always Larry's donation for our cards.
{he has yet to feel the need to write a strong note}

Now,
I want to make macaroons!
All flavor macaroons.
I am hungry and homesick.
{a dangerous combination}
Today might be a long day.
