A Brand New Week and Such Things

It is Foggy outside this morning.
My spirits feel gloomy just like the weather.
After such a delicious weekend, who would not be sad that it is over?
Mondays are usually a great day fo me.
A brand new week and such things.

Today feels different in some way.
Maybe it is the change of seasons, or watching Matilda grow up so fast
reminding me
that I am getting older and I still have so much to do.

Today is Laundry Day as you might know.
Lauren and Jami always tease me,
MONDAY, do you really still have a laundry day?
{yes I do}
I found an old recipe for dinner tonight. Ribs in the Crock Pot.
The recipe was cut out of a newspaper years ago.
 No date.
The paper was yellow and almost ready to crumble.
The ribs, made to specifications of this recipe,
are in the Crock Pot right now.
I will share the recipe tomorrow if Larry gives thumbs up.

Yesterday Larry took me to a 16th century church service.
It was a solemn affair, colorful and very beautiful.
The music was amazing, I did not understand the Latin,
but
my heart rejoiced in the scriptures of the rebirth
and was mesmerized for an entire hour.

It is Easter Monday.
Ribs are in the crock pot.
Libby is sleeping in her bed, having not eaten a bite of her pug breakfast
and yes.
It is laundry day.
Love you.
