Get ready to have fun.
These were as fun for me to make
as they were to serve.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Unroll 1 package of crescent dough and fit into the bottom
of (lightly sprayed with Pam) 13 X 9 Pan.
3. In bowl, mix together cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and vanilla.
4. Spread mixture over dough.
5. Next spread cherry pie filling over
the cream cheese mixture.
6. Unroll remaining dough and lay on top of the pie filling.
7. mix together 1 Tablespoon sugar, almonds and melted butter.
8. Sprinkle over the top of dough.
9. Bake 30-40 minutes till golden brown.
10. Cool completely, cut into squares, enjoy.
*I used gourmet sugar cane granules
with the almonds and butter for the topping.
I think it gave it a crispness, and glitter.
