"SHARING THE LIGHTS AND COLORS OF MY LIFE"
I have used this phrase almost, forever.
Defining people, my experiences, my ART
as
the lights and colors.
After all of these years I feel exactly the same.
If you have been rude and hateful to me,
you have taught me how to use dark colors,
and shade very well.
If you are a friend. Sharing and guiding me,
you have taught me to use ALL of the colors of the palate,
not only the ones I love
but
testing colors I might have ignored, or disliked,
making these new pigments part of my every day color-wheel.
If you have loved me,
you have taught me to highlight my world.
With the sparkles, and lights that reflect and share.
An artist must have all emotions to fulfill
an inner need of balance and sharing.
Today I have been thinking of you.
You, who have loved me even when I was all prickly.
You who have so much hate in your heart, that you cannot breathe.
You who are patient and wise.
You.
You.
I thank you with all of my heart.
You who hate me and you who love me.
Guess what?
I love you both.
You are part of me.
You have taught me how to love in the face of
hate, greed and anger.
You have taught me patience when you filled my world with love.
My heart is content and full.
Love you.

I am in love with that second photo! What normally would be a mundane subject (a box of beads) is art! Beautiful!
