5:12 am- Dear, sweet Libby is still sleeping without a clue to what will happen to her today. (she is having an operation to remove a rather large growth on her right paw) I picked up her water just a moment ago. She cannot have water or food this morning, Dr S's orders.
7:55 am- We are ready to go. At least I am. Libby is looking at me like, "Whats up mom?" I took her water up ages ago, and a urine sample is still only a wish. So Off we go to the Dr's office, where I know there is the perfect PEE SPOT. I have a disposable Glad container in one hand and my beloved Pug on her leash in my other hand. It is going to be a long day.
10:45 am- I am just home from Taking Libby to Dr Shurtz's office.
I then went to Michael's, Kroger and Costco.
I took the photo above while I was dressing this morning.
Libby knew that something was happening.
Libby had on her gear. Puppia, collar and Flexi.
She looked at me hard.
She arrived at the Dr's office at 8:30.
She weighed 22 pounds even.
She will have an EKG, IV and catheter.
No one shared what time surgery is.
Perhaps that is for the best.
Now it is time to wait.
