Summer is almost over.
We are home from the beach,
a trip to New York City
and
have enjoyed a summer
filled with good friends and family.

When we came home from the beach,
Larry searched in vain for Garf.
(our wild stray cat)
The woman across the street said she fed him a few times
(she was getting in our mail and we had asked her to feed him)

This past Saturday he showed up,
(after 3 weeks)
Hurt badly
and

acting like he had never been gone.
He posed for me,
as I took inventory of his cuts.
This photo does not show the bad ones.
But he is back.
His eyes are bright,
and
Larry is happy.
