The sun streams down the hallway early every morning,
and it thrills me.

The past few days have been difficult,

Do you remember my brown sugar cake?
Well...
this is what I did to it last weekend...
I baked the cake.
I set the cake on a plate to let it cool.
THEN
I tore it into pieces and sprinkled with about 1/2 cup (or more!) of
Then let it rest in the fridge over night.
It was served next day with vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce.
PERFECTION!
