This is one of my favorite places on Kaua'i.
It is the Menehune Pond on the south shore.
There is an old legend
about Menehune
that stirs my imagination.
I took this photo on my last day on the island.
It is one of my favorite shots.
***
It is wonderful being home.
My own bed!
(although the bed in our beach cottage is perfection,
not to mention the shower
is on a patio outside of the bedroom)
I have yet to go to the market,
since we have been home.
There are bagels and eggs in the fridge.
Tea, water and Larry's Diet Coke.
I wish that a Menehune would come
and do all my chores....
I have jet lag and need a huge nap.
Photos will be edited and posted to FlickR soon.
And I promise a regular blog entry....
but wait!
Is that possible?
Love you.
Me
PS: I would like to thank everyone for the notes, anniversary wishes,
love, comments on the Postcards from a Dream series, texts,
phone calls....
and for just being part of my wonderful life.
I need a nap before I get to sappy.

(Love U Me)
