SWEET DANISH
(A favorite of Larry's)
1 package (8oz) Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 cans crescent rolls
OR
2 cans Pillsbury crescent recipe creations dough
Smuckers Jam

~GLAZE~
2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-3 Tablespoons milk
Heat oven to 350.
In a small bowl beat cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice,until smooth.
If using crescent dough, separate dough into 8 rectangles. Seal perforations.
If using dough sheet, cut into 8 rectangles.
Spread each rectangle with 1 heaping Tablespoon of cream cheese mixture.
Gently stretch to about 10 inches.
Make deep indention in center of each roll.
( I used a floured shot glass)
Fill indention with jam.
( I used strawberry)
Bake at 350
for 20-25 minutes or till golden brown.

In small bowl, mix glaze ingredients,
adding enough milk for desired drizzling consistency.

Drizzle over warm rolls.

We enjoyed, dinner, wine and "The Count of Monte Cristo"
