BEAUTIFUL JOY

Many years ago, I worked in a tiny flower shop.

One hot summer day, business was slow,

and the owner

introduced me to the joys of

Strawberries & Sugar.

I will never forget that afternoon.

We sat in the design room,

eating pint after pint

of the beautiful fruit,

that is shaped like a HEART.

Today,

I have baked a custard pie,

and will serve it with fresh strawberries.

I love how memories penetrate

our thoughts

when

a beautiful joy is remembered.
