"Pearly Gates" There is an old wives tale

that says,

Never (spring)plant anything in your garden

before Easter.

I have always half heartedly set my planting schedule

to this rule of thumb.

Except

this year!

Three weeks ago I planted two rose bushes,

that were a gift from Larry.

They are struggling very badly right now.

Today I went to the garden center,

and bought a new rose bush

with hopes that it will encourage the two

struggling bushes.

I chose a beautiful soft pink rose bush...

Paid for it, brought it home

(with plans to plant it on Sunday)

But,

Guess what its name is?

GUESS!

Pearly Gates!

Lets hope the other rose bushes

are encouraged only by its beauty!

Have a happy mardi, it is almost done...

with hopes of a happy wonderful mercredi.
