***
A few months ago, I watched a man jump off of the cliff at
Shipwreck Beach.
It was amazing, brave and took my breath away
as I watched him wait
and then, when the moment (and tide)
was right, he jumped.
but on freezing days,
I often long for warm air
and
salt water soaking into my skin.
***
Bravery, also impresses me.
To have the ability to jump off of a cliff...
or the bravery to
to face your fears or foes,
is
a treasure indeed.
So many people, HIT AND RUN....
slapping you silly with their
opinion of you
or opinion of anything,
and then they vanish.
The bravery to stand up for their
opinion,
define AND defend it,
is very much like jumping
off of a cliff.
I see you smiling.
YES!
I have been going through old files
and letters.
***
The files are sorted.
The desk is clean.
and
I am pleased
that I am me.
***
This time of year,
people are sorting things out
and cleaning up old messes.
Larry and I have
found the most amazing things.
The lesson I have learned is.....
Never write a letter to someone you dislike
while you are drunk.
If you are never sober,
go on and write the letter,
but MERDE,
don't send it.
(insert huge laugh here)

This weekend was wonderful.
Cleaning,
meeting Lars and Josh for lunch....
Jami joining us for the Eagles game,
and
learning lessons by example.
***
It is icy outside.
I see the DR at 8:45.
(for a nose zapping)
I send love.
