BRIDGE OF SIGHS Yesterday afternoon, I finished Richard Russo's Bridge Of Sighs. Finishing this novel made me sad. After carrying it, relaxing with it,reading it when I should be working, and getting tangled with many of the characters, I feel as I have just said good bye to good friends, forever. I love & hate when that happens. It happens when I read Russo and Lamb.... and a few others. If you have a chance to read this.... make way for the hundreds of pages, and relax. You will be part of a new family. *** I shall be mailing this off to my cousin next week.... sharing a loved book is also a joy. It is a sunny, cold Saturday. I am dressed for the market and getting many errands done. Then, dinner at Zenna's for tonight. Get the chopsticks ready...Larry and I shall be there at 7! Love you lots, Me.
