SHARING Last week I sold a painting. It was one of about 20 that I have available right now. The painting was hanging at a cafe in far south Dallas, In a part of the city known as Bishop Arts District. The gentleman told me, he and his wife were having coffee at the cafe, and she fell in love with the painting. He would like to buy the painting for her as a Christmas gift. I was touched and amused at his excitement over this painting. It was delivered on Christmas Eve. It is interesting that I have almost no emotional connection to my work, except while I am creating it. I hover and worry and never stop until I am completely pleased with the finished painting. But, after that, the work is to share. I love knowing that one of my pieces was part of someones Christmas morning, THAT is the second wonderful part. Sharing. But as it should be with anything. Sharing what is special to you... makes it even more valuable. Love you. Me
