A Holiday Toast....

May your 2009 be filled with

all things good.

It is the day before Christmas

and the TV news is on

weatherman promising

a clear, sunny dawn.

I am to excited to sleep

the day shall be busy

I must get my nails done, bake, wrap gifts, deliver a painting,

everything will make me dizzy.

Libby is healing

a blessing indeed

she is still limping

but always being a PUG, is her creed.

Tonight the family shall gather

for a light dinner and await

for Santa's arrival

I think that it will be late.

Church at midnight

for songs and candlelight

remembering the reasons

for this blessed night.

I must say good bye

and start my Christmas Eve Day
