It Was A Lovely Christmas
***
Larry and I woke late.
I made sticky buns ( a gift from Aggie and Philip)
and steamy cups of hot chocolate.
It was then when we exchanged our gifts.
***
We were to leave for Lauren's
but Libby was not having a good day,
so be babied her, fed her (she would not eat)
and made sure that she was resting when we left
for Christmas in Gunter.
***
Josh, Lauren & Jami had been cooking
and getting things ready.
I felt very pampered and loved.
We enjoyed the most wonderful appetizers
and then a BBQ picnic dinner
( I hope that is a tradition now)
before dessert
we opened gifts.
(way to many gifts. I feel humbled)
Then dessert!
A most amazing pecan pie stunned my senses,
giving me a zap of energy.
Lars, what DID you put in that pie?
***
I am dressed this morning.
and will walk 4 miles.
It is damp and the air has droplets in it.
Have a good day.
I send best wishes to you.
I love you.
