Monday, Sunny and Hot

Work days are usually 3 mornings of each week. My Favorites days to work are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday OR Friday. Since springtime, the work schedule has been ignored, interrupted and basically forgotten. What a wonderful summer it has been! Now it is time to get busy again. Personal events, short trips and a basic bad attitude toward the stinking hot Texas weather has landed me in a type of funk that I am seeing the end of. To celebrate the end of "The Funk", Larry bought me a new work table! It is smack dab in the middle of the studio. Larry assembled it and smiled when he showed it to me. He gave me a gift of love, support and inspiration all at the same time. Personally I think that he wants his painting finished. The canvas on the easel is his....and needs a huge amount of work. It was his Valentines Gift........two years ago! The new work space is perfection and I cannot wait to go back to work. It is Monday. I woke to another hot Texas morning, the news screaming of an interview with that crazy Bill Clinton, Libby seems ill and tired this morning, but I think that it is the heat....and the laundry was hanging out of the hamper....not to mention the new work table is calling me!
