It is Late. Tuesday morning snuck up on us! We had a power outage recently. Larry reset the alarm clock....setting the alarm for PM instead of AM......needles to say he is late for his meeting that is in a tiny city past Ft Worth. He is on his way now.
The orchid above is going to be delivered today. A good friend is going through a difficult time. I have been thinking of her, so dropping a plant off at her desk today might make her smile.
I am dressed and ready for a walk, but dragging my feet, thinking about 4 miles today. It is hot, my knee hurts and I think that my IPOD needs juiced up. There is a hamper filled with dirty clothes....and a painting to start.

The back, sliding glass door has died. This home was built in 1965, and the blasted thing is 40 years old. (the door that is) I went and priced new sliding glass doors...and the one I want it over $1,000.00. geeze. That does not include installation. * I remember about 20 years ago, on a cold Christmas day....we were sitting in the family room...and this very door crackled and then began to shatter. Yes! It was freezing cold outside and the children(that lived behind us) had gotten a BB gun from Santa. We spent that Christmas, finding a GLASS man, and getting the patio door fixed. The people that lived behind us, were as poor as we were, so we just payed for the glass, and that labor was high,being Christmas day..........we did fill out a police report just in case it happened again.....such memories.
It is 8 AM......enough stalling.....off I go.
