Larry has journals with wine lables in them. He notes vintage, winery, what we had for dinner and who joined us. I soak off the lables for him. The above bottle is my favorite white wine. I soaked this lable off for him this morning.
I always make a dress for our trip to the sea ( in August). I cut this dress out today. The pattern is from a Hawaiian designer. The fabric is Batik.
I must finished these three paintings. They are impressionists wine bottles. I will paint later today.
When I bought our King TUT tickets, I bought the catalogue of the show. Each piece is listed in this book....and an audio CD by Omar Sharif, describing each piece in the show. I will know what I am looking at! (I refuse to use the audio tours when I go to an exhibit...they are a nuisance)
It is hot outside, The blinds are almost closed...the shadows are dark and striking. It is quiet and cool in the house.
I am reading this most interesting book. I found it at the Half Price Bookstore. Had never heard of it before...and it is VERY interesting......
It is a hot quiet Texas day. The moments are filled with special things....I wish you the same.
