The Music Man and My Sunday

Happy Sunday Morning.
I am just home from a hard walk in the hot Texas morning air. The sky is amazing and the air damp. It Rained last evening. I think that the dampness is left over from the nighttime rain.
Last night Larry and I went to dinner and the theatre. The Music Man (Meredith Wilson's) had a single performance at the Eisemann Center. Mark Jacoby and Emily Skinner (both Tony winners) Played Professor Hill and Marion the Librarian . The remaining cast was made up of local talent, with many children who are student actors, musicians, and dancers. This performance gave the students a chance to work with the "best" in the country... Jacoby & Skinner. I sat spellbound last evening (and no I did not have wine with dinner) The Play was charming on all levels...and the music took me away to a place where I can remember seeing Robert Preston sing 76 Trombones...a wonderful childhood memory. ( not to mention a personal favorite, The Wells Fargo Wagon)
The photo above was taken this morning, out on the deck. I am off to clean up, as the afternoon will be spent cheering for GERMANY during the European Championship ...of course Larry will cheer for Spain with a banana split as the winners treat....I always bet a banana spilt.
It is June29th already. Have a happy June 29th. I send love and hugs...
and GO GERMANY!
Love you!
Me
