A New Friday Book

.....Friday! I have rested and read. Finishing my current Wally Lamb was melancholy to say the least. Finishing a book that you love is always a startling moment. Finished? I do not wish to be finished with the book! Thank goodness I have a stack of titles waiting....Tonight I started PARIS TO THE MOON. So far it is a bevy of observations by a man who "gets it". (Adam Gopnik) I have listened to to many people who have never been to France (or anywhere for that matter) tell me how awful it is, and what a bad time the cousin of their hairdresser had when she went over, wearing her fanny pack and tennis shoes.....that's right go to the fashion capitol of the world wearing such as that. Adam shares the thoughts and observations of a true American in Paris, I highly recommend this charming book...........Merci beaucoup Adam! I am off to read....
