Dreams Come True

Yesterday, while out buying a gift,
I was very observant.
This photo does not do justice,
BUT the shoes did made me smile......
Are they nightmare  OR dream?
***
With TV coverage from London,
about the Royal Wedding,
I am itchy with jealousy.
London has to be one of my favorite cities in the entire world.
I will be watching, because
London will be in each shot.
(photo above taken on my birthday 2009
London~Westminster Abby)
It was definitely a dream.
***
Have a lovely day today.
I send love and wishes that
all of your dreams come true.
Love you.

Moving On

It is almost 8 am.
and time to get outside and breathe.
But, I have an inflamed,
Achilles tendon.
I had heard of it all of my life,
but never knew exactly what it is.
(below, find the DR'S chart)
**************************************
Larry has been at meetings since 7 this morning,
I hope that he will be home late this afternoon.
But....
Before he comes home, I am going on a walk.
(no matter what the DR says)
My favorite hiking shoes are SALOMONS.
They have never given me a blister,
I think that is why they are my favorite.
They seem to last forever.
I did not plan on getting a new pair
till the end of summer.
Till then, I have cut the heel off of my hiking shoes.
It killed me to do it,
but the deed is done, and now I can take hikes.
I cut the heel off of my favorite shoes.
But at least I can walk now
without the heel of the shoe hitting my Achilles tendon.
It is going to be hot again today.
Perhaps the heat will end soon? It is time for my walk.... in my new fashionable (ugly!) athletic shoes. Oh well. You do, what you have to do, in life,to get by. Cutting the heels off of shoes that hurt, or cutting things out of your life that are sad, bad and not conducive to living the life that is best for you. I believe that it is called, "moving on". I promise that when you get to a point of moving on, Life is happy, fun, amazing. Even if you have to tear up your favorite hiking shoes in the process. Love you beyond the moon. Robin

More Space.....

I have come to a conclusion.
Cleaning my shoe racks is more difficult
Than cleaning my closet.
Yesterday I cleaned out my closet,
giving three huge bags away.
(plus my old sewing machine)
Today I tackeled the shoe racks.
WOW.
I hate parting with shoes that I love.
But I did it.
A huge bag, plus two pairs of
cowboy boots.
One pair had belonged to my Mother.
But I did it!
Imagine empty spaces in my shoe racks.....
Oh I feel a trip to Macy's coming on!
"Place smilie face here"
Happy Thursday tomorrow.
Love you.
