Forever

Larry just booked our 2025 trip and the memories from last year 

have come rushing back. 

 Why is it, some moments stay in our hearts forever?

Just Distracted

I woke this morning, distracted.

The sun is shinning, but storms are expected.

Larry is far away, at meetings.

I need the sea.

Warm sand.

Salt water.

Children's voices in the distance.

Banana shave ice

and

special, quiet moments.

Distracted.

Love you.

It is early, and it seems that I am free till I meet a friend for lunch. Free moments! They can be anything I wish them to be. A cup of tea and read my book? Sketch out a new canvas? Take a long walk? Bake a batch of snickerdoodles? Take Libby and sit out in the gazebo? OK. I guess I will dust and vacuum.
