The First Week of September
Photo: Vaccine time~ Larry's turn

 Hello September.
This week, we had a flat tire, needed a new car battery, Larry had a extraordinary week at work, I made a new dress for Paris week.....and we got our annual vaccines.
Covid, Flu and RSV.
It is true. The science of medicine saves lives. My grandfather was a well known physician on the East coast back in the day. He instilled in us how awesome this science is.

Please, if you can, get your vaccines.
(before they are taken away by some kook)
Love you beyond the moon.

Just Forget It

Photo: Out the Car window

Last evening, Larry and I went out to dinner. The restaurant we went to is a small place in Allen Texas, and Larry has known the owner for over 25 years. It is our  "go to restaurant" on nights when I just am to tired to cook.
On our way to dinner, a storm was coming in. The sky was a most amazing shade of blue gray and next to the green September trees, it was a striking contrast. I loved my view of the Texas country as we drove to dinner.

Yesterday was ridiculous. I was to have my covid and flu shots, but never got them after hours of searching local pharmacies. It seems that our insurance has not contracted any pharmacies to give the shots.....Please check your pharmacy before making the trip for your vaccines.
Yesterday afternoon, I threw up my hands and said:
Just forget it.

I enjoyed my dinner with Larry.
We did not talk about Health Care at all!
Love you beyond the moon.

Positive, Negative

The good news is, Larry and I (after suffering with covid for two weeks) finally tested negative! Larry still has a cough and I can't smell or taste anything, BUT we are on the road to recovery.

One of our recovery activities was to take Matilda to the Modern Museum of ART in Ft Worth for the exhibit of "Women Painting Women".
( the exhibit was just, OK)
The painting that Matilda and Larry are posed in front of, was painted by one of my favorite ARTists, Sean Scully. Mr Scully had an exhibit at the Modern last year and a few paintings are still on exhibit.
(I am such a fan) Info below.

The photo above makes me smile. These two are so much fun there are no words to express how they make me feel.....I am blessed beyond the moon.

I hope that Monday's blessings surround you with love.

It is going to be 103 degrees here today. Think cool, positive thoughts.

Love you beyond the moon.
