Lost and Found

Two weeks ago while swimming in Poipu,
Larry and I found a piece of coral.
It was huge and had small new growths attached.
After Larry took pictures of me holding it,
We gave it back to the ocean.
It might not sound special to you
but
it was a wonderful moment of our trip.
Finding such a spectacular piece of nature took our breath away.

I am looking out of the window as I write,
noting that I love the sky, flora and fauna and Texas
as much as I love everything at the beach.

The personal preferences in our lives have the ability to make us happy.
The choices we make our ours.
I have no right to judge your choices,
any more than you have to judge mine.

What makes you happiest?
Is it a trip?
Lunch with a dear friend?
Shopping?
Planning a dinner party?
Spending time with your husband and children?
Having a cancer free checkup with your oncologist?
Playing words with friends?
Blogging?
Painting?
Designing dresses?

Well, I guess you know this is my happy list.
What gave it away?

Do not lose your personal happiness during busy days.
You are the most important element in many peoples lives.
You cannot make anyone else happy if you are not happy yourself.
Where is your happy list?

Love you.
