Thursday Randomness

Last night I whipped up chicken-soft tacos for dinner.
I like my soft tacos better than any restaurant.
I do not know why that is. I just do.
Every time I tell Larry that we are having soft tacos for dinner,
he gets a blank look on his face.
I think that he forgets what they are or how I make them.
Look how confusing it is.{just joking}
We also had chips and salsa with dinner.

Chef Valentine posted an Autumn favorite recipe.
That is what we had for dessert last night.

Today Looks overcast but it might just be my dirty windows.
You know, I really should do something about the windows soon.
Oh and the carpet.
It needs stretched and cleaned.
It is soon entertaining time
and
I better get this house clean...if possible.

You know I dislike when people preach their political views online.
Be it Facebook, blogs, or regular postings
BUT
Tea Party Republicans, get over it!
and
pass whatever bill you need to blasted pass, to get people back to work.
How selfish is it to infringe in other peoples lives to make a political point?
***
I met a man last week at oncology.
He has cancer and no insurance.
He told me that he had to make the choice
to pay for treatment OR to pay for food and mortgage for his family.
He chose the latter.
Many of us with insurance, forget about the ones without it.
Thinking about this past year,
knowing how much my bills were and are...

Ok...off the soap box now.
Thank you for listening.
 ***
I am going to Ft Worth today.
I shall shop and play while my driver {larry} is in meetings.
Ft Worth is a wonderful city!
I love it.
What do you love and why?
I bet your list is long.
Love YOU,
Me

Soft tacos look good. I know what it is not to have medical insurance. I haven't had it for over a year. People take it for granted. I have so many procedures that need to be done, but am putting them off until we get insurance. Yeah, I can pay out of pocket for them, but with Steve being unemployed, we might need that money to live on. We paid our house up last year so thank goodness that is one thing we do not have to worry about.

I like your blogs Robin. Keep them coming.

Hugs to you.
