I can hardly believe that today is the last day of February,
and tomorrow is March 1st...how wonderful this spring will be.
Museum activities, Matilda time, visits from far-away friends, Pug events,
and
enjoying every day.
{blessings abound}
This morning, I will work.
Mixing heart with colors to make a statement.
Art is very interesting now,
the digital era has given non-artists a platform.
I believe that if you do not have the eye or heart,
you can take all the pictures in the world,
and dirty up alot of canvases,
but
TRUE ART always shows up for the party.
Remember BONSAI?
Almost dead 2 years ago.
Last summer BONSAI was salad food
for Herbert the visiting mouse
and today, Bonsai is thriving once again.
Resting on a marble lazy Susan on the dining room table,
Bonsai is happy each day.
{Sherry, thank you for asking about Bonsai}
When Jamison was small, she started an Iris garden.
Each year, Larry and I add a bulb or two to the garden.
The bulbs are blooming early this year.
This is the first with 3 buds waiting.
I am frightened that this will be all that blooms,
if we get a cold spell, all shall perish.
I finished FALLING LEAVES yesterday.
{non fiction}
I enjoyed the book while I was reading it,
but
yesterday during the last 6 chapters, I fell in love with it.
Touching on a personal note,
the author was also disowned by her father,
treated badly by her siblings,
and after her fathers death, her step mother could not find the fathers will,
and after the step mother died,
her fathers will was found in her step mothers things,
and
Adeline had not been disowned after all.
I cried while reading the last chapters...
***
You know, this is exactly what happened to me.
{it was amazing for me to know that had happened to someone else too}
I am so glad it happened to me like this,
having learned the best lessons of life and family.
Blessings abound.
As today hugs you and you smile with contentment,
remember to love with all of your heart and never let anyone tell you how to live.
Life is so precious.
To live it on someone else's terms would be unfair.
Love you.
