The Tree

This weekend was wonderful.

One of the amazing things I had the privilege being part of,

was the dedication of a TREE.

The Plaque was in place.

Gerry Roy decorated the tree in a beautiful scarf.

Prayers, poems and promises....

                          our tree was dedicated to the community.

gathered by our tree

in the soft breeze of Saturday morning June 25, 2011.

As we gathered by the lake on the warm Saturday morning,

people jogged past,

parents pushed strollers,

men stood by the edge of the lake fishing,

families enjoyed breakfast in the big gazebo.

Our tree will be surrounded with love and energy.

A dedication anyone would be proud of.
