I found a small cookbook at an antique shoppe far away
and fell in love instantly.
The book cost $1.50.
Sunday's dinner included one of the recipes...
stuffed tomatoes.
(Menu: Stuffed Tomatoes and Beef Brushetta,
wine and vanilla cake)
My new favorite cookbook.
A Tomato Well Dressed.
I stuffed the tomatoes...
and they were amazing.
Beef Brushetta...
I roasted 3 heads of garlic.
Mashed the garlic.
Cut 12 slices of bread, toasted it.
Spread garlic on the top each slice.
Then I layered on top....
Provolone cheese: (and put it under the broiler to melt it)
Caramelized onions
Roasted red bell pepper
Top with sliced beef
Put under the broiler for a few moments.
Serve with a nice red wine.
(I picked this wine out, from a liqueur store in Temple Texas)
Sunday Dinner
is always at the coffee table watching a movie...
this week Larry humored me,
and watched once again,
one of my favorites.
To Catch A Thief.

This next Sunday will be different.
Memorial Day Weekend.
Have you made plans yet?
Love you.
