Mimosa Trees

    Making CASCARONES takes many days.
The process is filled with lots of eggs, beautiful colors
and
patience.
I like the calmness of making these..

Yesterday I dyed the eggs.
It is funny. I do not think that I ever dye empty eggs,
except during this process.

Egg Shells.
Happy pastel colors drying.
This would be a stunning photo, IF the egg container was white,
oh well.
Today is "fill eggs with confetti day."
AFTER
I have a manicure and pedicure with Lauren & Jami.
Lauren is quite pregnant, and Jami is a full time student.
How wonderful is it, that they take a few hours to be with me?
***
This time of year fills me with so many memories.
Why is that?
I can see the backs of my Mother, Lauren & Jami
as they walk down the street to look at
mimosa tree blooms.
Children's voices echo in the back yard,
my daughters dancing as they chase fireflies.
and
old Easter baskets resting in storage.
Reminiscing and realizing,
that the best is yet to come.
Love you.
