The texture thrilled me,

smooth metal "X's"

inside of a grainy canoe.

This piece was in a gallery in the 6th arrondissement

of Paris.

I loved, it but did not buy it.

(Larry said that I could have it, if I wished)

Imagine,

with whom ever found the kisses.
