During the last two weeks,
I have spent much time in bed watching TV.
I do not watch daytime TV, so it was rather eye opening.
When I got tired of
DR Phil's Family,
Who's Your Baby Daddy on Maury,
regal Oprah holding court,
soap operas.
and news.....
I would watch the Food Network channel.
One day I watched the Neeley Show.
They are BBQ masters
and
were making Sloppy Joes.
It looked so good, I wrote the recipe down.
If you are a sloppy Joe fan, this recipe is for you!
SLOPPY JOES

Barbecue sauce for topping
Directions:

Add the ground beef to the vegetables.
Stir and cook about 8 minutes,
until the meat is no longer pink and fully cooked.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, barbecue sauce.
Worcestershire and hot sauce into the skillet.
Stir.
Simmer about 10 minutes till thick.
Serve on hamburger buns.

This recipe became an instant favorite.
The salad with it was great.
( I will post the salad recipe later this week)
Love you,
Me
