One Of Those Days

On Saturday,

Larry's titanium glass frames broke.

Conservative Larry.

He has worn the same frames for years.

And they broke, on a SATURDAY.

We made it to the eye Dr's office before they closed.

The frames were hopeless.

BUT

they could take the lenses out

and put them into temporary frames.

At least Larry could see till he had a check up

and get new glasses.

( a two week process)

That is exactly what they did.

The lenses are in new frames,

don't tell Larry but I think they are GIRL frames.

Tortoise shell  and there are gaps where the lenses

do not match up with the frames.

Every time I look at him in these frames,

I laugh.

You know the kind of laugh that starts and

you just cannot stop.

Girl frames.

Tortoise shell!

Today I will drive him to his eye check up.

He will select new frames and next week,

the tortoise episode will be only a dream.

BUT

before the girl frames go away,

I have to get a photo of them....
