Larry takes me to the beach each summer. (above he is at ground zero at Spouting Horn, Kauai) Around this time of year, he get as antsy for the sea as I do.
Before we were married, he and friends, would drive to Destin, FLA. Parties on the beach, concerts at night. He would come home (as my Mother would say) brown as a berry. Handsome and healthy.
This week Larry had to pay the price for his behaviour. No, hahaha, not AA. He had a half inch mole removed from the center of his back. Going to the DR was a long time coming. Larry could not see the mole and when I told him about it, he would just smile. Then, I took a photo of it and showed him. The next day he made an appointment, and Wednesday was his appointment.
The DR zapped a few pre cancerous things off of him, but when it came to the bad mole...the DR gave Larry a shot and then dug it out and sent it for biopsy. I am playing nurse this week as it is my job to clean out the bullet wound. That is what the old mole hole looks like. And it is gross. Gross.
Larry is waiting for the diagnosis.
Do me a favor? When you are at drug store or Target or where ever you go this weekend, pick up some of your favorite SPF and use it. Please use it? And if you have a mole that needs attention, go to the DR.
Skin cancer is 100% preventable.
Public service announcement is over.
Love you,
Me

Larry! Hope everything turns out well. I, also, have had some pre cancerous spots over my lip. I'm glad Robin was able to convince you that the spot on your back might not be just a beauty mark! LOL Hugz!
BEAUTY MARK! hahahaha, Merde, you should see it now and I get to clean it.
Do you remember when he cut his finger off? Lauren was in Richmond, but Jami told the DR that she and I would clean the boo boo. hahaha, and we DID!
Love you Lara.
