30 Days in Someone's Shoes

A few years ago,
Sunset Blvd contacted me.
They wanted to use the above painting
in a TV show.
The TV show was
Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days.
It was then when I became a fan.
Morgan walked 30 days
in someone else's shoes.
One episode was set in West VA,
and he lived the life as a miner.
The dangerous, difficult, life of a miner.
It has always been that way.
We all know how dangerous it is.
Then why is it,
Diane Sawyer,  every TV network host,
government officials and the public in general,
only
act supportive when there has been a tragedy
in one of the mines?
(why don't they stay till changes are made?
Regulations to make the environment safe?)
All of the miners work to live,
as many of us do.
Why is attention is only shown
when there has been an accident in a mine?
Here is the link to Morgan and his shows.

****
There is so much pain in West Virginia today.
May God bless them with strength and grace
as they
make their way through the next weeks.

Forgive me for being on a soap-box.
Love you.
