Another Sunday Dinner

Sunday Dinner and Movie

It was a quiet day.

Larry let me sleep in after deciding

to forgo church.

We changed the clocks and smoke detector batteries together.

Sunday dinner and movie menu had been planned

and I started baking.

A bananas Foster upside down cake

was a new recipe for me.

Larry had chosen it,

it was easy to make and delicious.

( I will post the recipe tomorrow perhaps)

I put potatoes in the oven,

turned off my computer and went shopping.

I bought a new orchid!

The day was sunny and warm.

Came home to make dinner...

grilled fillet's outside,

baked potato with cheddar cheese,

asparagus with my famous white sauce.

Larry asked me to pick out the wine.

Domestic.

Dashe!

Full bodied.

Fruity but satisfying.

A hint of spice.

Plus.

It has that cute frog on the label.

We did not really watch a movie.

Just

an episode of the 2009 season of The Tudors.

Today ( Monday) is beautiful.

Libby has a 10:00 appt with her DR.

and

I feel content.

Well, maybe a trip to DSW shoes

would cheer me up more.

A new pair of shoes.

That is what I need.
