While I was peeking at many blogs a few weeks ago,
I came across a sewing blog.
The author was blogging about a specific pattern.
What a great idea! What a cute pattern!
I went to buy the pattern and thought, ick.The illustration on the cover was stark and ugly.
(the faceless ladies were not interesting)
I put the pattern back into the big drawer at the fabric shop.
But,
This week, I discovered that all Simplicity patterns were 99 cents!
I bought the ugly pattern and 2.5 yards of fabric.
The fabric is cut, and I have started the garment,
making it into a top to wear with jeans.
I LOVE it.
I will make it into a little black dress to wear this summer with sandals.
It is creative, a different design, very easy to make,
and I suspect easy to wear, for traveling, etc.
