15 DAYS!

15 days till Christmas.
(as I write this)
Do you love the feel of wrapping paper?
Folding it tight around the gift and securing it with tape?
Making bows is my favorite part of wrapping a gift.
Lengths and lengths of stiff woven ribbon
with snowflakes, trees or my personal favorite SNOWMEN!
Tying it around the gift, securing it with a tight knot,
holding loops and loops as a bow grows
to fit the package that you are adorning.
I LOVE it!
I am almost finished shopping.
One last gift to buy.
For Larry.
He is always the most difficult to buy for.
Why is that?
Is it because I know him best of anyone in my life?
Is it because he is happy in his little OCD world,
and tends to favor the oldish things that make him feel comfortable?
Is it because he is not greedy in the least?
What do you get a man such as this?
I wish that he had a wish list on Amazon,
or liked knick knacks for hunting or fishing.
But alas,
he is an work-a-holic, wine collector.
( I refuse to buy him wine because we all drink it,
what kind of gift is THAT?)
he likes old books, and family dinners.
Well,
I am thinking aloud now, thank you for listening.
Off I go, into the world of pushy, last minute shoppers
as I search for the perfect gift for
My Larry.
Love you beyond the Scotch Tape.
