I woke this morning, thinking about friendship.

Wikipedia says that friendship is:

"the cooperative and supportive relationship between two or more people."

How wonderful is that?

A short sentence what says it all.

Friendship.

Last evening, Larry and I sat at a table by the window.

The Bistro slowly filled as we waited for our friends.

Smells from the kitchen begged for our orders...

Finally Mary & Lloyd arrived.

Busy schedules postponed us meeting for a couple of months,

and what a wonderful evening it was catching up with family,

and assorted personal "doings."

And we laughed.

Friendship.

One of the great blessings in life.

Mary & Lloyd, thank you for the wine,

and the friendship.

Gregory & Lydia, thank you for allowing us to

occupy one of your tables

all night long.

(and for the raspberry souffle)

when someone allows you be you,

and loves you no matter what.
