The sunflower garden is amazing...gentle giants grow by inches each day.
Soon their heads will face downward,
weight and Mother Nature,
protecting the seeds from local preditors.
I will be sad when they are, but seed, for next year.
The process has been fun.

It is 7:00 am and 80 degrees outside already.
The heat has taken its toll on so many things this summer...
Streets are a bit emptier,
people walk in slow motion,
Cool clothes and cool salads are the rule of the day.
Hot or cold,
today is my gift.
Each moment will be enjoyed to the fullest
extent of the law.
