Last night I had the pleasure of meeting Jason Morgan.
An Air Force veteran, who now is in a wheelchair,
has a sweet service dog named Rue, oh and he is also an author.
It was an evening sponsored by Canine Companions.
(an organization that provides trained service dogs)
Jason wrote A DOG CALLED HOPE
and
shared his story with us...
it is a story of
Service,
Courage,
Faith and
HOPE.
Jason ended the evening with verse he whispered
to his brother when woke from a two moth coma.
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wing like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Last evening was very moving.
It will stay with me for a very long time...
