My yesterday was a basic Monday and nice.
I did chores and kept creatively busy.
At noon I went to the lake and walked 4 miles...
the highlight of the exercise was this beautiful bird.
He watched me and followed me.
It was a lovely game of tag.....
and
then as I circled the lake, he perched in a tree
till I came back around.

I woke at 4 am this morning.
I do not know why I cannot sleep,
but refuse to lie in bed worrying anymore.
I got out of bed and made scones.
White chocolate scones.
I will be sharing them with neighbors....
Look out Debbie. I am bringing them over!
I hope today is a happy one.
I plan to exhaust myself
so maybe I will sleep all night tonight.
