Cheesecake and Tiramisu

Last night, we babysat Matilda.

When Larry got home from work, 

we headed north, 

stopping at Subway for dinner along the way.

{Lauren had an emergency parks meeting.}

Matilda is awesome.

 I cannot express how I feel about her in words.

At bedtime, we read her about 20 books,

 but she never fell asleep.

Josh got home late and brought us,

chocolate cheesecake and tiramisu.

Then, Josh took over reading to Matilda

and we headed home to eat dessert in bed.

Sometimes,

unexpected evenings are the best.
