For almost 20 years,
on Mothers Day,
my family has taken me to Scarborough Fair.
It is a Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, Texas.
The event has become even more special with the addition
of
Josh, Matilda and Jami's boyfriend Jared.
I love the costumes, music and shops.
The fair is so much fun
and
inspires me in an unusual way.
This year, my favorite moment was a "girl" moment.
Matilda, Lauren & Jami took a ride on Christi the elephant.
Matilda was absolutely beside herself with joy
and
I think that Lauren & Jami were thrilled too.
Thank you everyone for the great Mothers Day gifts,
but
to be honest, this photo is my favorite thing of all.
