Seasoning The Present

This funny, strange week continues.
My feelings of today are intertwined with happenings of the past.
Two years ago, tomorrow, I became cancer free.
I do not want to remember the sad days but I do not want to forget them either.
There is something absolutely special about letting the past "season" your present.

I am happy today.
The sun is hidden behind rainy clouds.
Libby is gobbling down her Pug dinner
and
tomorrow will come in its own time,
allowing me to rejoice in the joy of remission!

Please remember to get your mammogram.
Love you!
Me
